A really enjoyable photoshoot for Captain Kuppa T and the Zeppelin Crew’s album – the aptly titled “Lock-in” in March 2020. The band wanted a renaissance style shoot for their CD artwork and publicity and we had a really fun afternoon talking these in their local in Oxford!
There was so much energy and laughter – it was an absolute blast! Little did we know how accurate the title of the Album would be.
Vintage style photography and photoshoots are some of my favourites and I love the way the lighting and careful editing transforms the images to a different era.
To create my vintage portraits, I combine modern equipment, and careful selective editing, with classic techniques and practical effects. Using a distinctive style based on the interplay of light and shadow, we can go on a creative journey to explore romantic glamorous portraits, hedonistic Gatsby style shoots, sultry burlesque, or the gritty midnight world of Film Noir.Â
